A Middlehammer Tale is a narrative army painting challenge.
Most hobbyists struggle with motivation when it comes to painting, at least from time to time. A Middlehammer Tale is here to help! Each month you and dozens of other gamers will be presented with a theme and you will paint units that fit it, encouraging each other as you go.

Introducing Ugludd and Snazgit...
Ugludd Bonenose has risen to leadership of the Bittermoon tribe of goblins and intends to make his enemies tremble. Snazgit the shaman is already trembling…with laughter. He has no idea how Ugludd has managed to survive this long, but he’s determined to find out.
The newly-united Bittermoon may have the strength to rule the Iron Hills, but Ugludd has no interest in that. He has seen the Dark Waters and knows he must march east. He will follow the path of Fate and drag the rest of the ladz along with him, whether they like it or not.
Ugludd must rally the tribe and set out across the Middle Kingdoms, hoping to be able to find The King’s Way – the road east through the mountains. His journey starts here…
