The Art of A Middlehammer Tale
From the outset, we want to ensure that every piece of art used in A Middlehammer Tale is original to the project. We also believe artists deserve to be paid for their work, rather than be expected to donate their skill and time – or worse, asked to work for “exposure”. All art on these pages has either been created by the A Middlehammer Tale team, commissioned from professional artists or produced by community members as part of their projects. The only exception to this rule is when an artist has volunteered a piece to add to our catalogue, for which the entire community is very grateful.

A Middlehammer Tale aims to be inclusive, allowing gamers to imagine the setting as fitting their own particular project. What will be true for all is that their warlord believes they have been selected by destiny and are marching to glory. We hope to offer art that will fire players' imaginations and allow them to picture their armies on campaign.
